On D&D Beyond, we’re updating how rules content is labeled:
“5e” refers to content that uses the 2014 core rules
“5.5e” refers to content that uses the 2024 updated core rules
Both books and content are now a part of the 5e family.
This change is about clear labeling so players can easily understand which rules a piece of content uses.
