What is Party Inventory?
Ultimately, Party Inventory solves the “bag of holding” problem! Party Inventory allows player and DMs to have a common place to put inventory Items and treasure into shared containers that are accessible to other folks in the game group. This allows them to share and track the "things" the party has looted/collected during their adventure!
Who is Party Inventory for?
Players in campaigns (both web and mobile app)
DMs who may have NPC characters in the campaign who want to access shared inventory.
How does it work?
A player with an active character in a campaign will find a new tab labeled Party Inventory within the inventory section of their character sheet.

Features
The core feature of Party Inventory is to allow the group to manage items in a shared space.
Players can add items directly to the Party Inventory from the Add Items section of the Manage Inventory sidebar, or by moving them from their My Inventory section to the Party Inventory or any container within (see screenshots below)
Players can view the details of all items within the Party Inventory.
Players can equip an item and gain access to its benefits.
Items display if they are equipped and by which character.
Players can move or delete all items within the Party Inventory as long as they are not equipped to another player’s character.
Clicking the button labeled by the campaign’s name in the top left, opens the Campaign sidebar with a link to the campaign page, a launch maps button and the list of active characters within the campaign.
Clicking the button labeled by the currency within the Party Inventory, at the top right, opens a sidebar where a player can manage the currency within the Party Inventory and its containers.
Just like the individual character’s containers, currency can be managed from within each Party Inventory container if the Put Coins in Containers setting is toggled on. This setting can be found in the top left corner of the Currency sidebar pane (see screenshots below).

Troubleshooting/Edge Cases
When a player has equipped an item from within the Party Inventory and then is deactivated or removed from the campaign, the item gets “stuck” in a state where other players cannot move, delete or unequip the item from the removed character.
To prevent items from being “stuck” in this state, we have given DMs of a campaign the ability to delete any item from the Party Inventory regardless of its equipped status. This action can be taken from within any Character Sheet in a campaign.
2014 and 2024 Artificers can move their Infused or Replicated Items into the Party Inventory, but due to technical limitations, other players in the campaign cannot move those items onto their own Character Sheets.
Only the Artificer who created the item (or the DM) can delete the item.
These items can still be equipped by other players, and they can see that the item has been Infused or Replicated. They can still gain all the benefits of the item on their character.
