What are subscriber perks?
Subscriber Perks are cosmetic benefits that are granted to subscribers on the first week of every month. The benefits can range from a character sheet background image to character frames, to a specific dice set and so on. These Perk benefits are also available via the Subscriber Content Library from D&D Beyond Drops, if you have an existing subscription.
When I subscribe, do I get all past perks?
No, you only get perks for the months during which you were subscribed.
Are there different perks for the higher subscription tier?
No, as a subscriber, you get all the perks no matter what subscription tier you are subscribed at.
If I unsubscribe, do I get to keep these benefits?
If you received Subscriber Perks in the past, but later end your D&D Beyond subscription, you'll maintain access to those old perks you've collected, even when you lose access to the Subscriber Content Library from D&D Beyond Drops.
If you did not earn a particular Subscriber Perk in the past, and are relying on the Subscriber Content Library to access that piece of content, ending your subscription ends the access to any content until you start a new subscription.
If I resubscribe, will I get perks that I missed while I was not subscribed?
No, You only get perks for the months during which you were subscribed.
Do I have to be subscribed for the whole month to get the perks?
No. As long as you're subscribed at some point during the month.
Where can I find out what the perks are for the month?
You can see the complete historical list of Perks granted each month in the Subscriber Content Library. If you were subscribed during a particular month, you should have that perk on your account.
Also, if you are subscribed, you will receive an email each month (after the perks roll out) that will introduce the new subscription perks for that month. This requires you to have your Email Preferences set to receive emails. Perks are automatically added, so you don't need to receive the email to receive the perks if you have a subscription.
Where can I see the perks that I have collected?
There is not a single location that shows you all of the perks you collected in the past for your account, however the Subscriber Content Library does show the month and year that each of the older Subscriber Perks were released. If you were subscribed during that month’s perk release, you should have access to that perk, even if you don’t have a subscription.
If you do not have a current subscription, to see all of the character backgrounds or frames you have collected on your personal account, you can go to your character sheet and see the options that are available.
