So, you've got character sheet options available. But how do you use those options? This guide will show you how!
First, go to the Character Sheet you wish to update. Each Character Sheet can be changed individually. Look for the MANAGE box next to the character's name.
Clicking the MANAGE box (or the character portrait), will open the sidebar with a list of options. The sidebar has 2 pages, with the first one showing your character’s name and portrait, and ways to modify the character and play options. You can get to the second page by clicking the CHANGE SHEET APPEARANCE box on the first page, or by clicking NEXT at the top of the sidebar.
On the second page of the sidebar, you can see your character’s current Portrait, as well as the Current Decorations applied to your sheet, including the current Frame, Theme, and Backdrop.
Lower on the second page is the Browse Decorations section, which is where you can change the Backdrops, Frames, and Themes decorations to options you’ve unlocked on your account.
- Clicking the Backdrops dropdown will give you a list of options that will change the background image on the sheet. Clicking on any of them will instantly change the background art behind the character sheet.
- Clicking the Frames dropdown will give you a list of the frames available to you. Clicking on any of them will instantly change the frame around your character's portrait.
- Clicking the Themes dropdown will give you a list of color options that will change the color of the lines that surround each field on the character sheet.
- Clicking the Portrait dropdown will let you choose from a large selection of existing character portraits or allow you to upload a custom portrait (Recommended Size: 150 x 150 Pixels, Maximum File Size: 3MB. The files must be .jpg, .png, or .gif) The Portrait can also be updated in the Character Builder.
And as a final note, if you want to change the fields of your character sheet to black or white, you can toggle Underdark Mode under Preferences.
